Obituary of Mary Kay Davis
Mary Kay Lynch Davis was a wonderful mother and
grandmother. She will be missed by her
children, her grandchildren, family and friends.
Mary Kay was born on January 9, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa,
to Jay McCalment Lynch and Ruth Evelyn Rogers.
Her father, Jay, was a prominent dentist in Des Moines, Iowa.
In her childhood, Mary Kay was a talented pianist. She played piano solos and duets at many
piano recitals. She continued to use
that talent until late in life when she developed arthritis in her hands which
made it impossible to play anymore.
Mary Kay was well educated.
She met her husband, LeRoy Junior Davis, while attending University of
Colorado in Colorado Springs. It was
during the war and she received her bachelors degree in Psychology. Mary Kay and Junior were married right after
he got out of the Navy on May 5, 1945, in Providence Rhode Island.
Mary Kay is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Davis,
and her daughter, Marci Davis Elliott.
She is survived by;
Her son, Robin Davis, and his 6 children: Rebecca, Karalee,
John, Michael, Mary and Ann.
Her daughter, Jayna Michele Darnell, and her children; Brian Junior and Heather Torres.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, April 20, 2015, at the
Arlington Mortuary, 9645 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, CA 92503. There will be a viewing at 10 am, followed by
a service at 11 am.
The interment will be at the Riverside National Memorial
Cemetery, Staging Area #5, at 1 pm
